Welcome to The Connect Her Collective, a space created to keep our community of women in business connected, inspired and supporting each other.
Connect Her was built on a simple idea: when women know each other, trust each other and support each other, incredible things can happen in business and in life.
Through our events, conversations and shared opportunities, we’re creating a network where collaboration comes naturally and everyone has a place at the table.
Whether you’ve been part of Connect Her from the beginning or you’re just discovering us, we’re so glad you’re here. This newsletter is simply another way for us to stay connected, share what’s happening in our community, and celebrate the amazing women who make it what it is. |

Connect Her is currently being looked after by Billie Merchant, Janelle Moses and Toni Bourne, and we’ve been working behind the scenes to help get this idea off the ground.
It’s been a fun learning curve so far and we’re really enjoying seeing the community grow.
Like many of you, we’re women in business ourselves, living locally, raising families and wearing many hats - so we understand how valuable connection, support and collaboration can be.
Connect Her is still evolving, and that’s part of the excitement. We’re always open to ideas, suggestions and feedback. If there’s something you’d love to see from this group - an event, a topic, or a way we can better support women in business - please come along, say hello and share your thoughts.
We’d also love to encourage women in business across the Tablelands to consider being part of their local Chamber of Commerce. Chambers do a lot of great work behind the scenes supporting local businesses, creating opportunities to connect and helping keep our business communities strong.
Many of the events and opportunities we enjoy locally are made possible through the time and effort of Chamber volunteers who care about seeing their towns and businesses thrive.
If you’re not already part of your local Chamber, it’s definitely something worth considering. It’s a great way to stay connected, build relationships and support the local business community. |

We have some exciting events on the Connect Her calendar this year, mark your calendars, we’d love to see you there 💫 |

Our Promote Her events are one of the ways Connect Her brings women in business together — by opening the doors to local businesses and creating a relaxed space to connect, learn something new, and support each other.
These evenings are casual after-work catch-ups where the host has the opportunity to showcase their business, share their story, and connect with the local community, while we enjoy conversation, drinks, nibbles and plenty of networking. Connect Her Tablelands supports each event by helping promote the business and bring women together.
While these are free events, bookings are essential via our website so we know who’s coming for catering purposes.
Keep an eye on our socials as these planned events get closer for more details.
It’s a chance to network, catch up, and learn — all in a relaxed and welcoming environment. 💚 |

A beautiful opportunity for women in business to pause, reconnect and refill their cup.
This September luncheon (date to be confirmed) will focus on wellbeing, personal growth and meaningful conversation — reminding us that when we take care of ourselves, we’re better able to support our businesses, our families and our community.
It will be a chance to step away from the day-to-day, share a meal together, connect with other women in business and leave feeling refreshed and inspired. |

To wrap up the year, we’ll be hosting a Connect Her Christmas Progressive Dinner through Yungaburra.
This will be a relaxed and fun evening where we move between a few local venues, enjoying great food, great company and celebrating the friendships and connections built throughout the year.

This month we’d love to shine a spotlight on Sign Hub, who generously donated all of the beautiful signage you’ve been seeing at our events and around town.
Jasmine from Sign Hub has been incredibly supportive of Connect Her from the very beginning, backing the idea and helping bring it to life with her stunning signage work.
Her creativity and generosity have helped us spread the word and create a strong visual presence for our events across the community.
It’s a wonderful example of women in business supporting women in business, and we’re so grateful for Jasmine’s support and the beautiful work she has contributed. |

Around the Table is where we share what’s happening within the Connect Her community.
It’s a space for business updates, upcoming events, collaborations, opportunities and little wins worth celebrating — helping keep everyone connected and in the loop.
If you have something you’d like to share with the Connect Her community, we’d love to include it in the next edition of The Connect Her Collective.
Send us your update and pull up a chair at the table. |

|
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Connect Her, attend events and champion other women in business.
This community is something we’re building together, and we’re so grateful to have you as part of it.
To help keep everyone connected, we’re planning to send out four editions of The Connect Her Collective each year — just enough to share what’s happening without filling up your inbox.
Until next time, keep supporting each other, keep showing up, and keep doing great things in business and in our community. |
