We're Billie, Janelle and Toni the small but mighty committee behind Connect Her and between us we're running businesses, raising kids, drinking probably too much wine and figuring it out as we go.
So when we say we understand how much connection and community matter? We really, genuinely mean it. We're living it too.
A huge part of why Connect Her even exists is because of the Malanda Chamber of Commerce. They believed in this before we had anything to show them and that kind of support means everything.
If you're not already connected to your local Chamber, whether that's Malanda or wherever you call home on the Tablelands, it's genuinely worth a look. Chamber membership is a collective voice, a seat at the table, and access to people who genuinely care about seeing this region thrive. One business speaking up is a suggestion. A whole Chamber speaking up is hard to ignore.
And here's the bit that might surprise you, membership works out to as little as $10 a month. That's less than your Tuesday coffee and a whole lot more useful. Jump on their website and check it out. ๐
Oh and did you catch us on the front page of What's On Tablelands? We may have done a little happy dance. It felt like a proper moment and a reminder that this community is growing into something really lovely.
As always we want to hear from you. Ideas, feedback, suggestions, or just a hello. This is yours as much as it is ours.
What your committee has been up toโฆ
Billie โ Merchant Financial
If you've been trying to make sense of the current lending landscape, it is a lot! Even experienced brokers like Billie will tell you it's been a wild ride lately, and the new government budget changes have made things particularly tricky for investors, especially those looking at established properties. The good news? Billie and the team at Merchant Financial are across all of it and ready to help you think through strategies that actually work right now. Don't try to navigate this one solo. Just call Billie.
Janelle โ Massage Therapist
Janelle has been quietly having what can only be described as a very productive few months. Between clients she's somehow managed to fit in five โ yes, five workshops covering everything from Women's Empowerment to Essential Oils to Canine Raindrop Technique (which sounds fascinating and we have many questions). And as if that wasn't enough, she was elected Treasurer for the Atherton Tablelands Chamber of Commerce at their AGM in June. Basically Janelle has been upskilling in every direction and making the rest of us look like we need to try harder.
Toni โ Virtually Done Business Support
So Toni has been sitting on something for a while and it's finally out in the world. Virtually Done Social Studio is officially open and honestly, it's been a long time coming.
Photography has always been part of how Toni sees the world and now it's part of what she does for local businesses too. We're talking real, beautiful, branded images that actually look like your business, the kind you're proud to put on your website, your socials and anywhere else people are looking at you.
It took a bit of courage and some gentle nudging from the right people to make it happen, but here we are. If your business is ready for photos you're genuinely proud to show off, reach out to Toni directly. |
